Pool players with class have the
dignity to accept their victories or losses with goodwill and
decorum. Control your emotions do not let them control you. The
example you set inevitably will be followed by some and possibly
many of the players that you will encounter in your lifetime. Your
game as well as, your reputation amongst your fellow players can
suffer when you allow your temper to get the best of you. Don't
throw and risk breaking that valuable cue, as it is impossible to
compete without it. Instead promise to practice that shot until it
becomes as automatic as your stroke!
When your opponent scratches on the 8-ball or pockets it out of
turn- your mark in the win column is due to their misfortune not
your brilliant display of shooting skills. Remember how it felt
the last time YOU scratched and everyone cheered!
Pool over the years has evolved into a family recreational game.
Be proud of your knowledge of the game and always display the
proper "Etiquette" and your opponents and teammates will do the
same. Most importantly have FUN!
